In my work to date I was looking at sculpture as a constituent part of larger scale work (like installation or architecture) or as part of the environment, rather than self-sufficiant object. I have been thinking a lot of how to bring playfulness and flux to three-dimensional works and how could it interract with both, different spaces and the viewer.
My present practice is lagerly based on developent of 3D modular shapes as modularity represents the universal principle of economy in nature where variability of structures is resulting from sets of basic elements. By recombining the elements, sculpture can be altered, what also enables shapes to infinite growth, which allows me to play with the the final form. If I should definine the place where my current practice is – it would be somewhere between sculpture, architecture and design.
